Turbo servicing / Ship-in repair process
Fully digital from the first click. No paper forms and no phone tag, just a fast, tracked process from the day you ship to the day it is back in your hands.
Start your repair formOur online repair system replaces the old paper forms and endless phone calls. Submit your repair request online, then track everything in real time through your personal Customer Portal, including status updates, technician photos, two-way messaging, and callback requests.
Made for the way we work: we developed this entire system ourselves to give you real-time tracking, direct communication with our team, and full visibility into your repair. It is a level of transparency most shops do not offer.
Step one
Start by filling out our secure online form. It instantly alerts our team that your turbo is on the way and gives us everything we need to begin work the moment it arrives.
Your command center
Once submitted, you have around the clock access to a portal we built ourselves to give you complete visibility into your repair, the kind of visibility most turbo shops do not offer.
Watch your repair move through each stage on a visual timeline. Know where your turbo stands at any moment.
View detailed photos of your turbo through the repair. See exactly what we see on the bench.
Need to show us something? Upload photos straight through the portal to share detail with our techs.
Read notes from our technicians as they work. Stay informed on findings and progress.
Have a question? Message us in the portal and get a reply without playing phone tag.
Prefer to talk? Tap the callback button and we reach out to you. No waiting on hold.
View your quote, approve work, and access invoices in one place. Full transparency on pricing.
See exactly how long your repair has been underway. We track business days so you always know.
The Boost Lab advantage: this portal is custom software we built specifically for our shop. Real-time communication, full transparency, and control on your side of the screen mean you are never left wondering what is happening with your turbo.
Step two
Before you seal the box
Double-wall box recommended. Avoid thin Amazon or USPS boxes.
Wrap the turbo in a plastic bag to keep oil off the box.
We track your turbo by name. No paperwork required inside the box.
Fill empty space so the turbo cannot shift. Avoid packing peanuts.
No oil or coolant lines or other parts needed.
Insurance recommended. FedEx or UPS preferred.
Step three
Within 3 to 5 business days of receiving your turbo, we contact you with a detailed repair quote and timeline.
Our promise: no work begins without your approval. You are in control every step of the way.
Inspection fee: $125, waived if you proceed with the rebuild. No obligation if the repair turns out to be more extensive than expected.
Common questions
Yes. Your Customer Portal gives real-time updates with a visual progress timeline, technician photos, detailed notes, and more. You always know where your turbo is in the process.
Through your portal you can message us directly, upload photos to show us something, or request a callback if you would rather talk. We typically respond within one business day.
Use the confirmation number from your submission email to look up your repair, or search by email to see all your jobs in one place. Email verification keeps your details secure.
We recommend FedEx or UPS with tracking and insurance. USPS can work but has higher damage rates for heavy items.
